Kaya Kannabis is a joint venture of GreekKannabis S.A. and Kaya Brands International. The Kaya Kannabis™ cannabis cultivation and processing facility will be situated on a 15-acre site in Thebes, Greece.

This project has received its Development License from the Greek authorities. The facility expects to meet demand emerging from Europe and select Asian markets.

We have selected Greece as the center of our European market activity because of its amenable cannabis regulations, favorable climate, affordable, capable workforce, and Greek’s position as a major pharmaceutical center in Europe.

Thebes (Thiva) is a modern city in Boeotia, central Greece - with ancient roots. Thebes played prominent roles in Greek myths as the site of tales told about Oedipus, Heracles, Dionysus and others.

Thebes is located between Lake Yliki to the north and the Cithaeron Mountains to the south. The city is 705 feet above sea level and is situated 31 miles from Athens. In 2011, the municipality of Thebes was expanded to include Plataies, Thisvi, and Vagia to create one larger city.

Kaya Kannabis plans to develop approximately 15 acres with 310,000 square feet of greenhouses and 60,000 square feet of post cultivation processing facility - meeting all standards to earn a EU-GMP certification. At full capacity, the facility will produce at least 84,240 pounds of high-quality medical-grade cannabis annually. The farm will be developed in stages allowing us to pace growth with market demand.

Kaya Shalvah™ is a Kaya Brands International project. The Kaya Shalvah cannabis cultivation and processing facility will be situated on a 25-acre site in Yerucham, Israel.

This project has received its Initial License from Israeli authorities which allows it proceed with development. The facility expects to meet domestic Israeli demand and serve select export markets.

We have selected Israel as an attractive center for activity because Israel is a global center of cannabis scientific knowledge, as well as technologies developed specifically to enhance cannabis cultivation processes and yields. By being an active in the robust Israeli cannabis community, we expect to gain advantage through the early application of game-changing technologies.

The “Kaya Shalvah” project will be situated on up to Company 25 acres (100 dunam) in the Negev Development Town of Yerucham (in southern Israel). Yerucham is an ancient town, as ruins from the 10th century B.C.E. at the entrance to the city attest. Modern day Yerucham was formed in 1951 as Kfar Yerucham (changed to Yerucham in 1962), as one of the country’s first development towns – created to settle frontier areas in the early years after Israel’s independence.

Yerucham has a Development Zone A designation from the Israeli government, making economic growth in the area a national priority and attaching a wide range of financial incentives to companies establishing operations there. Under the leadership of its Mayor, Ms. Tal Ohana, Yerucham has embarked on a program to transform the small desert town into “Greenegev”, the first cannabinoid ecosystem in Israel. The plans call for cultivation, processing and research companies to concentrate their respective activities in Yerucham, attracting services that provide each resident company with core advantages by virtue of the cooperation and support the ecosystem community is uniquely positioned to provide.

Kaya Shalvah plans to develop up to 25 acres with up to 600,000 square feet of greenhouse space greenhouses and a 80,000 square feet of processing/manufacturing - meeting all standards to earn a EU-GMP certification. At full capacity, the facility will produce at least 187,200 pounds of high-quality medical-grade cannabis annually. The farm will be developed in stages allowing us to pace growth with market demand.
